Our Mission
EFeMS mission is to ensure the retention, advancement, and leadership of African women in STEM careers by addressing structural, professional, and psychosocial barriers that contribute to attrition. Our objectives are:
Leadership: We aim to birth more African women leaders in STEMM through professional development programs that will teach useful skills
Community: We aim to build a community of African women in STEMM through mentorship and networking platforms.
Support: We aim to provide financial and career support to African women pursuing higher STEMM education and STEMM professions.
